Dash Lights

When its cold out (<40*), the speedometer and fuel gauge lights don't turn on. when it's mild it, they are on with everything else. I'm assuming its the same issue as if I had with my 240, it goes on after warming up because the contacts aren't getting a good connection? they function properly, they just don't light up when I turn my lights on when it is cold out.

I was just looking for a second opinion.
