Hello,

I recently replaced my ECU/ECM on my '94 automatic G20. The ECU is from a '96 automatic G20. The car is starting and driving fine. It actually runs and shifts great. However, the ABS, Airbag, and Transmission lights are all on the dash.

Is it because I put a new ECM in? Is it because its from a different year?

How can I fix it? Is there a way to reset it?

Anyone else experience the same thing?

Thanks,

Omar

I'm betting this is the problem. If for some odd reason it's not, I'd check your charging system. Those lights are a sign of alternator failure in a Q45 (not sure about G20 though).

Well, good thing the ECU has a full refund.

I will just pick up the car and put in the ECU myself. The shop will charge me alot. I bought the ECU anyways so he wont even warranty it. No biggie.

My question is that is it easy to change the ECU? How do I do remove and install it? What do I need to do?

Please help me.

Thanks,

Omar
