Dash Lights maken me crazy...

I replaced the 75 Amp fuse under the hood... I've bought a good used TCU ( Time Control Unit )...My Gauges work fine but the cluster doesnt illuminate. The HVAC controls do and also dim with the dimmer switch. However my cluster does not illuminate for the love of G.O.D. Also my HUD does not work either. I am either considering replacing the dash since it is cracked and putting in an Analog Cluster and if later down the line I find a good HUD i will put it back in.

Thats what I would do, just go with the analog.

Sounds kind of dumb to ask but did you make sure the bulbs work, on these systems typically when one is burned the whole thing suffers like in a Nissan infiniti digital climate control.They seem to be run in series for some reason.

Best thing to do is make sure that the harness at the cluster is getting an Illumination signal. On the back of the gauge it will say ILL+ if it gets power when the lights go on the problem is in the cluster, if it does not even have this you can rewire it and introduce your own 12volt signal from the HVAC and see if this will light it up

Didnt know it was in Series... thought it might have been in Parallel.

I will go out and check the bulbs...My HVAC controls light up and also my clock and when i switch the Headlight Combo switch to Parking Lights the clock light dims out. I will check the bulbs and post back.

Tested every bulb...all work. Going to Check the all the fuses and back of the fuse panel 2marrow. Im still trying to get an Analog Cluster w/ Harness but its tough when I do not have PAYPAL. So all I can do is do local transactions.

wow... I seen a couple of people roccing like that. But i still need to see my speed. I have an analog now and it was a SOHC one so I swapped out my HUD cluster tach in it. Fit Perfect. So now I will pick up a harness 2marrow and throw in a new battery and see what happens...
