dash lights go off when headlights are turned on.

This is a 2010 versa hatchback 1.8 with only 32,000 miles on it. The dash lights go out when you turn on the headlights. No matter what position the dimmer switch is in, the dash lights go out, when the head lights are turned on. Does anyone know how to fix the problem?

Hopefully you went to the dealership by now since this post is a little old. Try checking the fusebox maybe? That'd be my only attempt with it. I've never heard of anything like this. Have you done any modifications electric wise lately? Maybe some wires got disconnected/mixed up.

Still haven't fixed this dashlight problem yet. There hasn't been any modifications done on this versa . Its been to cold here to work on it. I have heard there ma be a recall. Does anyone know about any recalls on the 2010 Versa.

2010 versa s, dash lights go off when headlights are turned on. I still haven't figured out why. No warranty left because of time of 42 months from purchase. It has passed the 36 mo. Although the car only has around 32,000 miles on it.

Turning the dimmer switch doesn't help. Surely I'm not the only one that has had the problem.

There is a small knob left of steering wheel. It cobtrols the brightness of ur dash lights. Turn it on. Hope this helps.
