dash lights, chime, brake lights stay on

ok with the key out my dash, cluster and brake lights stay on. the battery is low so theyre dim but when i hook up the charger theyre bright as hell and the tail light housing gets VERY hot, like its getting ALOT of power from somewhere. just the passenger tail light lights up even though both are getting power. yes my grommet on the brake pedal is gone, i did the penny trick, its not the brake switch. You have to unplug the battery to get the lights to go off.

this is on my 89 coupe with a DOHC swap. (its not my dohc harness thats messed up because they stay on even though the ecu is unplugged,

are the door pins working?

yeah, ignore the door chime, door isnt lined up. but other problems exist

dash is fine
