hey fellow Nissaners. i just bought the Clarion VX400 DVD/Radio/Gps. And im looking for a a double din dash for my coupe. would it be best to buy the one from nissan that comes with the car with gps? or do i buy an after market one? and if so, which? thanks

As far as I know, only the OEM nav kit has the correct texture.

All aftermarket kits I've seen have a flat, differently colored appearance. People usually stick those dash sticker things to hide the hideousness.

would the center dash piece of the coupe that already comes with nav fit on my coupe? and ill just put in my after market gps.

i read the post. but im getting so many diffrent answers. i need to know if i buy from nissan the double din center dash would it fit on my car and would my gps fit?

Do you have manual climate control? If you do, then yes it SHOULD fit. BUT there is no guarantee that your head unit will fit perfectly into the opening without fabbing up some kind of trim or other aesthetic piece. I had to fab my tray a tiny bit (there is a pic in that post). Its a double din opening, it will fit a double din unit, but it might not be perfect.
