dash kit

i was looking at the brushed aluminum dash kit in the group buy section and i was wondering if its just an overlay or actual replacement peices and what all it covers. also if anyone knows about the 9 piece, it says with side vent pieces, but wouldnt that add two pieces to it? if anybody has this or knows anything about it i'd appreciate it.

usually they are all just overlays. Have you ever looked at the backs of the console pieces? It would be incredible hard to get all the mounting points right.

yeah i just found out today that they are overlays. i went to the place where i got my crew decal made and got a price from them, they said about $250 installed, so i'll probably do that. i kind of doubted it was actual peices because just the one piece around the shifter costed me i think $70.

Don't pay to 'get that installed'..it's overlays..you clean the material...and stick the overlays on..it's not rocket science-
