I have never painted interior trim pieces, but here are a few suggestions:
1) Surface prep is the most important. The surface must be sanded smooth, washed, and degreased. There are typically all kinds of oils, mold release agents, etc on plastics and you have to remove them for the paint to stick.
2) Use a primer made specifically for plastic parts. I would try auto parts stores or places that specialize in automotive paint. Duplicolor makes and adhesion promoter/primer that should work well:

3) For the color coats and clear coats, you can use a wide variety of automotive spray paints. Duplicolor has a few options in thier product line as do many others. I am no expert in painting so try Duplicolor's website for painting tips:

A few more tips:1) If you decide to paint the HVAC console under the radio, be forewarned there is an airbag indicator light. If you disconnect it and try to turn the ignition key to ON, it will give you and airbag check/warning light. There is a way to clear it:

If that does not work, you may need to take it to the dealer.
2) The plastic scratches quite easily. Be careful removing components and use a cloth where needed to protect surrounding trim pieces.
3) IMHO a nice effect could be achieved by painting the following:
- HVAC vents above the radio- HVAC console below radio- The silver shifter bezel- Door handle inserts
If you need help removing the interior trim, please look at the manuals here:
