I have a 2009 G37S which has the high-mounted "fog" lights; inside of the headlight casings. When I turn them on, the fog light indicator light on the dash (far left side) does NOT illuminate (it never has). Is this normal? I drove a 2010 G37 the other day, which has the updated front with "fog" lights mounted in the grill, and the indicator light worked fine.

If mine should illuminate, could this be a fuse issue? I'd hate to have to pull the dash to fix it.

Thanks!

Welcome to NICO!

Do you see the lights come on when you turn the switch? I don't think there is an indicator light...but I could be wrong.

No, I don't see a light come on when I start the car or turn on the fogs. However, when shining a flashlight into the area left of the tach, I can see where the indicator is. The indicator light did work (in the same location) on a 2010 model I drove.

Just tried mine the other day and I don't have an indicator light for my fogs either. Most likely Infiniti uses that dash on other vehicles so even though we don't have a light for the fogs, other vehicles do.

You are probably looking at the high beam indicator, never seen a fog light indicator.

So you still believe there is a fog light indicator? If so take a pic.

Here are a few pics of the fog light indicator. It's hard to see but the location is the mirror opposite of the headlight indicator. The brights indicator is center top (blue).

It looks like this:

I have a 2010 g37 convertible that still has the fogs in the headlights. If I turn on the lights and then the fog lights, the fog indicator comes on. Now you do know when you have your high beams on the fog lights go off and that indicator goes off as well. I see you have your high beams on in the pics.

Then I have no idea why yours is not lighting up. Let the dealer deal with it.
