ok so my car started poping the ignition switch fuse the other day and i couldnt figure out what it was. It stoped if i disconnected the acc for the radio (which has all the guages hooked up as well) and i got the car home fine.So now everything is still disconnected and the ignition swtich fuse is fine but the clock lights, dash and door ding dont work anymore.

so basicly there are three wires that go to the back of your radio power, acc & ground. with the acc on the acc wire gets 12v and with the acc on or off the power wire gets no more than 2.8-3v...wtf is going on? I put a multimeter to both sides of the plug for the fuse(the fourth fuse going down on the right) by the dead pedal and one side reads 0.2v and the other gets 4.0 wtf is going on? do i have a short or what?

nope, nothing. the kid that had the car before me hacked up the harness and wired he gauges like ****, i riped it all apart after having these problems and re wired the radio to the factory wiring diagrams specs (minus Active speaker). The gauges still aren't in the car

A few week prior i was having voltage regulator problems on my alternator which i had to change the alternator for. I am also using s jumper for the alternator fuse.
