On the crutchfield website they dont list 97 or 98 240sx's but they do list 96 240sx. So i was wondering if there is any differences between the 95-96 dash and the 97-98 dash that way I dont try to install a cd player and not have it fit. Any information would be greatly appreciated, and thank you in advance.

all car manufacturer's make it possible to install aftermarket decks... you should have no problem installing an Alpine, Eclipse, Panasonic, Sony, Pioneer, etc. as long as it's the standard deck size (not one with a pop-out 5" LCD screen, cause i don't know if they're bigger or not)

There shouldnt be any difference in the dashes for the 95-98 with the same stereos(cd or tape). Same mounting depth and all that jazz. So in short, if your radio is one of the ones with the pocket beneath it, pretty much all regular style radios should fit.

There are wiring concerns if you have the amps under your rear shelf(in the trunk) however.
