dash cluster problem

I recently swapped my engine and now my dash doesnt work. I searched and i heard that the ecu maybe f*cked. how do you tell the difference between an s13 and a s14 ecu.

What exaclty isn't working? tach/speedo, all the cluster? lights? buttons? If your dash isn't working, then you've got some problems. lol

if you whent sohc to dohc your going to need a dohc gauge cluster
