dash cluster problem

I have a 1992 240sx with HUD. my problem is that my electronic speedo goes on and off all the time. I've traced it to the HUD connection on the back of the cluster, but don't know how to fix it. I actually don't like the electronic speedo, and was wondering if it can be swapped for the standard needle speedo without any wiring mods, or what it would take to be able to use the needle speedo. You need the analog sub-harness. When you remove the digital cluster, disconnect the clips WAY in there (IIRC there's two, a black one and a white one) and then replace everything with analog stuff.

Also, be careful in removing the digital cluster and HUD. Those can still fetch a decent price, even barely working. In fact, I'd bet you could find someone who'd trade their fully functional analog cluster and sub-harness for your digital cluster, HUD and sub-harness.

ok i just removed my Digital cluster and the 2 wires. Now I need to get a analog cluster and what i am asking is... the analog cluster only has one harness correct?
