dash clock light?

I have an s14 se, and I want to replace the dash lights to brighten things up a little bit. I believe I need three 194 bulbs for the dash (correct me if im wrong), but what about the clock light? What kind of bulb does it take? I found people talking about painting the clock lights, but has anyone replaced it? I'm think i'm going with some matrix X series super white xenon bulbs, has anyone used these before? I want to have to squint when I look at my dash.

Put 3 of those behind the dash ... after it melts you'll get a free tan.

thats tight :rolleyes , so when u look back at the road your retinas are burned and u die. u turned the dimmer up right?

but if u dont find it, use those lights nf was talking about, should fit fine....

Yeah Quik brought up a good point (for once ) ... you don't want too much of a contrast in lighting since it will affect nighttime driveability.
