I want a stealthy one I can put in the Miata since I park outside with the top down and never lock the doors.

Suggestions?

you probably want one built into an aftermarket interior mirror. They're less noticeable to thieves, and more of a chore to steal, but probably bigger than a Miata stock mirror so it might be more annoying while driving. You can probably find one for around $100.

Heres a review I did.

Its not small or anything, but the review has some points that are worth considering when buying a dash cam that I didn't think about until running one.

A wire tuck seems to be a must if it's wired, which I figure you would want for a power source. Get a small one, well most are small anyway, but one that's mostly just the lens on a wire. I saw this tiny thing, SQ8 Mini DV Camera, so I can see they get pretty small, but that one looks like it might be wrong for a car. Frapjap did a thorough review. I don't think I'd get that particular model, but he certainly had me thinking about things I wouldn't have thought of before buying one. You could fab up your own hiding place. Like maybe stuff it into your mirror, sun visor, or whatever. Or, stuff it into a pair of large fuzzy dice. Nah, those would get stolen. Put it on the dash, but under a cheese-steak wrapper. Nah, that would get stolen also. Maybe an Altoids can? A can of Ensure? A bobble head of Hillary Clinton? Nah, that might get your car keyed by a Trump fan. I'm trying to think of things nobody wants.
