Anyone know if you can splice or connect into the center front interior lamp assy to power a dash cam? Or pull from the vanity mirror light?

The map lamps will have a hard ground available but no battery power to back up the cam, only switched power through the Power Saver in the BCM. Since it's an SL I assume you have a sunroof, if so you can pull +battery, +ignition, and ground all from the sunroof motor connector. It will be a 10-position connector with only 6 positions stuffed. Black is ground, Blue is battery. There are two Violet wires, one in a corner and one in the middle underneath the polarizer. The middle one is +ignition. The connector is easy to get at, just grab the front edge of the map lamp console and pull down hard, the whole assembly will pop loose from the headliner.

Thanks VStar. No sunroof. Any other options?

Yep, I just looked up the inside mirror and it has connections for all three. Kind of weird, most of them only have +ignition. Anyway, it's another 10-position connector with only 3 loaded, Brown is +battery, Violet is +Ignition, Green is ground.

Vstar - I was wrong. It's an SV not an SL. Does that make a difference?

Shouldn't make any difference to the mirror provided it's a dimming one. Even if it's not, see if the pigtail is there for it. It should be. They offered the dimming mirror as an accessory, so the connector for it should be tucked under the headliner someplace.
