so on the left side is the headlight pop up and the cruise, then on the other side is hazard, defrost, and rear wiper right ?

of all those buttons, only my defrost lights up when i turn on my parking lights. earlier tonight i was trying to see what was wrong and pulled out my hazard and it blinked RED, i was shocked to see it turn red for the first time. so can i assume its a loose wire and not a broken signal ?

any suggestions on how to fix this little problem ?

There are little bulbs in there that burn out. I replaced all mine. I had to go to a little electronics parts store(not a radio shack or any big chain) to find replacements for them. I dont remember how I got the switches out, I think I had to remove the whole trim around the steering wheel that the buttons mount into. On the switch modules you'll see what looks like little plastic phillips head screws, some were blue some brown. Unscrew those and and the light comes out with them. You have to bend the leads on the new bulbs into channels in the plastic screw things, they dont just pop into a socket. Hard to explain, but if you have any kind of mechanical abilities, it should be obvious once you actually see it.
