dash board lights acting wired

ok i was like driving last night and my wife told me that the lights on the speedomiter (or whatever you call them stuff that tell the speed lol) only had half the light on it lit. So i did the old getto move. yes i hit it a couple time and it light up again. Now i am wondering if anyone else had this trouble with theres becuase i would like to fix the problem now before it gets worst. anyone let me know thanks.

try taking the cluster out, and check all the wires, make sure there all snug and tight fitting. also, mess with the bulbs too, they use 194 type bulbs, so its a rather large knob(??) that the bulbs are seated in.

Could be a resolder job on the back of the dimmer.

how do i get to this dimmer is there some step by step instructions to do what you all say thanks
