Hi there, I have an 87 300zx Turbo. I just replace the inner and outer tie rods and performed an alignment, but now my car darts from side to side on the highway. Everything is tight and my alignment was performed right, every time I hit a bump it will want to jump left or right. It used to do this before i replaced the tie rods, thought they were the prob. Before it was only sometimes and not very sudden, now it does it even more. I don't know the last time my wheel bearings were repacked, so I'm going to do that tomorrow. It's really kind of scary to drive right now, so I'm trying to pin point the prob. I jacked up one side of the car and could feel a lot of play both top to bottom and left to right on both sides. Was not coming from the tie rods, they were solid. Any info would be greatly appreciated.

Tire pressures?
What size tires?
Shocks good?

Many cars with wider tires or worn out suspension components have a tendency to dart around. Add in any other issues and it can be a bit unnerving. I'm surprised the alignment shop would not tell you of other issues.

I did the alignment, the prob was my lower control arm was lose some how. Tightened it back up, still in the proses of doing the wheel bearings just cause. Going to redo the alignment when I'm done. Can't believe I missed the control arm being lose ><
