Ive been having a problem with my car bogging down at 4k RPMS for about 3 secs and then taking off, only does it in 1st but it makes me loose every race. I am pretty far up ahead then that happens and they start to catch up and pass me. When my car does get back to reving good it seems to have very little power. Anybody know what this might be.

I also was revving it yesterday while in neutral and i noticed it would rev to 4K RPMS and pretty much stop for about a half a second and then shoot to 5K RPMS.

I have seen something mentioned about this in 240 technical quite frequently and, not sure but I think it had to do with the butterfly set up in the intake manifold.
