dark tail lights question

i saw i think on here someone saying that they spray painted the tail lights with a "tail light" spray off ebay. anyone know them or find the link? also if not what is a good method to this or are there anything i can buy?thanks and this is the most informative car site i have ever been on

or just go to ebay, and do a search for "tail light spray" and only click on the ones that say black or smoke.....

VHT Nightshades. Some find normal body paint to work as well, with better permanence.

Yes i did use a spray as someone else said VHT nightshades did the trick. I put a light layer on then put three clearcoat layers on for depth. I'm am a detailer so i know how to be meticulas

That spray on the outside or inside of the lense ??Looks SWEET !!Would look good on my Dark Green 94 me thinx.

it must be on the outside if he clearcoated it....looks awesome man...i wanna do that to my car too...he obviously knows what hes doing by clearcoating it because these tints are known to fade and look ugly if theyre not cleared ...i think its really hard to take apart these taillights

I used VHT nite shades and i did two coats because after the first coat, the tint was blochy in places but i believe that can be fixed with clear coat. the second coat turned up really nicely, but it is darker than most people like. Ill post up some pics later.

Ive used some spray on tint made by "Testors" that I bought from hobby lobby.

I did about 8-9 coats of it then I sprayed some clear on it and its pretty good looking.

How did u paint over the "Infiniti" letters? Where did you get the clear coat? What brand?
