I'm torn betwen what to pick for an overall color scheme to the car. Alot of colors look great on black or white, but I'm not sure how they would look on gray.

Figured I'd get the popular opinion.

No, more like accent coloring.

Get the brakes, intake and other various parts powder coated this color, license plate lights that color, interior lighting ect..

I'm caught up with a couple points.

1 - My favorite color schemes are colors on black, which nearly everything looks good on. My coupe is the Dark Slate, not sure how great that works with the same colors.

2 - Red is too common. Not bashing on anyone who uses it, but it seems like EVERYONE uses it. I want it to stand out in the crowd, without being too extreme either.

Right now Black and a darker Blue are my top contenders as far as what looks best. The problem I run into then is lighting and wanting it to have an overall dark slate/<color> scheme, custom lighting gets alot more expensive.

I've considered Gun Metal as an accent color, and I'm looking pretty damn hard at those VOLK TE37's which I like by far the best out of the wheels I've seen, but it seems like it would be TOO bland if I went Gun Metal on everything.

I was thinking the same thing, but is the one with yellow calipers Precision Grey or Dark Slate?

It's the Prescision Gray.

After seeing that in the original thread it was posted on, that's where black really caught my eye. I wish I had seen that before I did my 'mustache' repaint, I probably would've done the whole thing in black, on the lighter gray it looks badass.

All my accents are silver. I like doing light and dark contrasts. Brings out the accents best

I always liked the dark slate and orange . . .

I am getting LEDs for inside my car and they're going to be orange/blue. So i guess orange or blue for my opinion.
