So last night I started playing it, I think it's a pretty cool game thus far. Anyone else play it?

What I've seen/read of it hasn't interested me.

Details on what makes it fun?

It's dark, like you're always sneaking around in the dark, and you have a flash light but it only lights up so much. You have a couple of guns and this "blade" you throw that impales people... with all kinds of demons and infected running around.

Hmmm...I like the dark. And flashlights...

It sounds kind of DOOM 3-esque (which is a good thing).

Too bad there's no marketplace demo...I'm still too unsure about it to drop $60.

watch as many videos on it as you can. see how the action plays out and if youre still interested then go rent it? better than dropping 60 on a hunch

Yeah kinda Doomish....I played a demo through Xbox live before my brother bought it.

Oh, I guess there is one, then. I didn't see it when I looked...I'll have to check again.

i will never play this one again. some of the boss battles are completely unpredictable. i fought one guy for 20 min waiting for him to do the thing that he has to do for you to hurt him and he only did it twice. after i died, i tried it again and within 3 minutes, he had already done it twice. i just wanted some goddamn consistency. up to that point, alright game. not spectacular, not horrible like turning point, or conflict: denied ops.
