dark purple s14?

Does anyone have any pics of dark purple colored s14s (95)? I saw an ad for one in the paper and it doesnt sound too bad, but I dont think I've seen the color before... is he referring to the maroonish color or what? Help me out!

I think the color you are referring to is just like cnichols project s14. It is dark purple, then it changes color to dark blue too.

I think the name of it exactly is Medditeranean "sp?" Blue. It changes colors just like the Emerald Blue does.

Do a search on these forums for cnichols car....there was one a month ago called the beast is complete or something like that. Just type in beast.

hm I hope its that color... damn doesnt look too bad at all. I called the guy though, and tried to ask about the color (hard to explain over the phone I guess)- I was like is it kinda blue-ish or whatever? Hes like no its definetly like a really dark purple. I donno, I'm hoping its a stock color, cause I'm scared of people who paint cars for seemingly no reason (like they're trying to cover something up). I donno I think that beast car is more blue than purple, dont you?

PS... heh I didnt mention, but the reason I'm really interested in this car? it's a 95 with 100k on it for $2300! yeah yeah I know, its PROBABLY got something wrong with it (he admitted it needs bushings and the front right tie rod, but beyond that nothing else).... arugh its probably a lemon.

Here is my color, it looks black and night and whenever it is ugly out, but when the sun hits it you can see the purple.

hmmm the only that comes to mind is deep fushia... (LS1) but that is only for S14a's i cant seem to find a purple for the S14 whatever 95-96 years are called..ask the guy to give you the paint code and i can probably tell you what it was orginally. its on the firewall on the passenger side on my S13 maybe for your s14 aswell..

Hmmm paint code? Is it on that metal plate thats on the firewall where you said? How will he recgonize the number? Does it say PC: or something like that? (thanks man!)

looks like it would be called "plum" or something. I don't know the Nissan naming scheme though... I thought you were looking for s13s fiz? You find a good deal or something?

yes it is on the firewall plate it is pretty obvious on mine, which should be any nissan, it says "Color trim Color Quaricon":Insert code here

My car is the same color just like #1 stunna's pic and the paint code is LS1 G. I've been trying to figure out the real color also.

ok theres a purpl color, my friend Tim has the color, its a VERY rare color. looks pretty good. theres also another one at the local shop without a front end on it tht is the same color, i can ask him tommorow what the paint code is. i say go take a look at it tho. you shoudl be able to tell if its stock or not, the engine bay will be a dark dark color kind of an off black

hey guys thanks for all the help, but the car i was looking at got sold. heh. I called them the other day and this young girl (like 7 or 8 years old) answered the phone... she said ok just a second after I asked for her dad, and then I heard in the background "hunny just hang up on him, he cant hear me right now... just hang up, I'm not selling the car anymore." Heh, thats courtesy huh? Dissed by an 8 year old on the s14. Oh well, thanks anyways guys!
