Dark Chrome Emblems

Do you know of a place that sells good DC emblems? I'm thinking about de-badging the whole back of my car and putting a dark Lexus emblem. I think that would look good. Too much white and chrome back there. I see some on eBay, but they are expensive and I don't know anything about the seller or the quality.

Get some black chrome paint and paint them? I simply removed mine.

Couple coats of black plastidip ought to do the trick. Cheaper, dont have to remove the emblem, and when it gets played out for you simply remove the coat and voila, you have your chrome emblem black.

Hey Soup,

Bringing this one back up because I found some Anthracite plastidip that is the same color as my rims and I think it would look great.

How do I do it without removing the emblem?

You can spray plastidip directly on the paint and it will peel off. Most people simply tape off a section around the emblem, spray it with plastidip and then peel it off the body. Do a Google and there will be some howto's
