jsut curious what are some of the complications that arise from extream overheating and/or overreving??

Warped head is a big one with overheating, and with an SR I wouldn't take it over (or even to) redline often if it all because the rocker arms will fux0r themselves.

thats good to know, seeing as how i have an sr. how does redlining **** up the rocker arms though?

It doesnt mess up the rocker arms unless they pop out but SR's are known to throw a rocker arm or two if they are revved really high. Rocker arm stoppers and stiffer valve springs help though.

Yah... see my thread... Miss a shift with a race clutch and BOOM! It's really easy to do with the sotck motor mounts too!
