Does anyone elses cruise control start accelerating after you set it? It has happened to me a couple of times after I pressed set, the speed just starts accelerating and does not stop until i press the brake.

That has never happened to me, and I use the cruise control quite often. That is a strange malfunction though. Let us know if you find anything out.

Most of my driving is highway and I use cruise all the time. Never had a problem. You need to visit your dealer - that is not a normal issue.

Why are you using cruise control at 25-30 mph?????

Don't you know that's the lowest limit you can use cruise control and that can cause the problem. Try at high speed and see if the problem still exists.

i don't like using cruise control and not being in "full" control.

can't say i've had this ever happen, i cruise down the freeway at times, but much faster than you're going. cruising around 110km/h no problems.

You may be experiencing the resume feature of the curise control. It works like this.

You are crusing at 60 mph, and set your cruise control. Then you hit the brakes, and slow down to 25 mph. If you hit the (+) sign on the wheel now, the car will accelerate to the last speed the cruise was set to, 60. However, if you hit the cancel button, and reset the speed. It will stay at that speed.

Thanks for the explanation that makes sense cause it only does this when i push (+) not when I push the set button.

^ in your case, it might be something is wrong with your cruise control. If it happens often, then you should bring your car to the dealership and get it checked.
