So I thought I was doing ok, until I tried taking out the underdash harness, the one that goes the the fuse box under the dash, but theres a whole mess of wires that lead to the back of the vehicle. Am I pulling the wrong harness out?

Thanks for any help!

why do you need to pull the whole harness to swap?

if you are talking about pulling the harness to get mated with your RB harness then you do not need to pull the harness going to the fuse box. you need the harness that connects to your ECU inside the car.

Carl H:I figured I had to pull the harnesses out of the car so i can lay them out and splice with the RB?

s13point5: I thought that i need to pull the harness connected to the fuse box to get power to the motor. I have the other side, ecu figured out. but the power seems to be on the other side, connected to the fuse box.

Most of the stuff is in the engine bay except for the dash and consult stuff. If your really felling lost there are some decent DVD's that will walk you through it.

no. you only need to pull the main engine harness. the engine harness is only connected under the dash to the ECU

rotorimp I actaully checked out one of the wiring dvds but they only show stuff on the harness, nothing about actually installing in the video. Any recommendations?

s13point5really? damn, looks like I have a lot of wires to put back in. But then where do you get power from? Because I know that on the skyline its a fuse box that connects to the battery on the driverside.

thanks guys
