hey everybody, just need some quick help here. i have some indiglo gauges for my car and i was attempting to put them in, but soon after i had gotten all the screws our from my dash, i came across an impasse because i could not take the bezel out from my dash to take the gauges out. by bezel i mean the plastic structure which includes the buttons for my lights and emergency light button. the problem was that i could not get it passed my steering wheel tilt handle. any suggestions of how to take this thing off?

sounds like you didn't take off the two bolts holding the steering column in place. if you look under your dash, you'll see two 14mm bolts I believe. Once they come off, your column will come down and then you've got to take off the two or three screws holding the bezel part in at the top of it into the dashboard. Then you'll see another couple screws I think 3 more holding the cluster in place.

180fan is right, there are a couple of bolts by the lever that adjusts your column height. Take those out and it will fall down another couple inches. It is still a tight squeeze but MUCH easier.
