Yeah that movie is real. Sony has some awesome engineers.

Also I just saw some music video on Jpop where, well I dont speak any japanese, but I think it was about this chick that wants to do this robot. The video had this big *** robot similar to those guys on that last video only about the size of a middle schooler. Japanese do have giant flying robots I swear they do.
