Hi All,

I own a 2011 Infiniti G37x and recently, I noticed the floor/mat on my drivers side was damp. Wondering if anyone would have any ideas to what may be causing the problem. My first thought is that it could be the sunroof drain, but am unsure where that ultimately ends up so can't pinpoint that as the definite option.

Has anyone ever had any experience with wet/damp floor mats? I obviously want to avoid erosion and other potential damage to my car.

Thanks!

If you open the roof and pour a small quantity of water into each drain channel, you should see it come out behind the front wheel. If you don't, the drain on that side is clogged. There are rear drains too, but generally you need to jack the front of the car about 6" or park on a slight uphill to check them. I'm not sure where the rears would egress on a G, but it will be either behind or in front of the rear wheel.
