200 for a grill + 150 for paint. sooner or later the price will come down, and im sure they'll make one for the coupes if no one does.

Seriously...

Someones playing a cruel joke on us!

This is exactly what I would buy if they had it for the Coupe. Not a fan that it's fiberglass, but damn... that looks sexy...

The sedans grill is fully removable. Ours is not. I have a feeling, the people who are saying this, have never tried to take apart the grill. If you had, you would see it is not gonna be an easy thing to create a grill for the coupe.

if i pull out the piece that holds the waffle... its 1 big piece right?

Theoretically... couldnt someone dremel out the entire waffle and leave the border, then fit mesh into that grey frame?

Brian,

I'm actually going to try that in the next month or so. I'm gonna saw off the waffle, sand down the waffle trim and have it body color matched. I bought a universal peice of polished aluminum diamond mesh from GRIP Tuning that I'm gonna use on it. I'm gonna have it to look simular to the S5 Grilles that Active Tuning has for the previous gen altimas. I am anxious to see how this will look.

I for one do like the factory altima sedan grille. If it were offered for the coupes, i'd be the first to buy it.....but I would do a body color match to it. But it's not and all the other aftermarket coupe grilles look blah so this is one thing I wanna try.

There is a local guy here who has a car cutomizing shop who hand builds fiberglass body kits and grilles for cars (mainly 300C, Magnums and Chargers) I had taken my A/C to show him the car and see what he can do about a grille for the car. He told me that he would do exactly what Brian was asking and what I plan on doing. I told him that if here were able to do a mass production on it, I would possibly have many buyers (from the NICO family) for the grille.

Well, it's been well over a month, almost 2 now and I haven't heard from him. I've tried to call him and e-mail him, but I have not gotten any response back so I said "Screw It, I'll just do it on my own." Like I said, within the next month or so, I will have this mod done and hopefully it comes out clean and nice.

I've seen that but I just don't like the trim and don't like that the mesh is flush and not dipped in like the S5 Grilles.

I got a custom paint job on my grille, it was easy to take off, and even easier to put back on.

This is the perfect grill I've been looking for. It has that slight deep dish look and a mesh that isn't as sporous as the sedan one on e-bay. Stillen should stop thinking too much and mass produce these along with the front splitters. When is the front splitter group buy starting!!!
