Yeah so, I had my car at my dads house changin my flux capacitor and I come back and theres this damn snail sitting on my exhaust mani!!! I was like, WTF?! But, i decided to keep him. I named him Garrett T3 .42a/r. :

Yes yes, another louisiana turbocharged ka is done. Well, mostly. Im getting my cold pipe welded monday (bov flanges, etc) and then after that my exhaust will be made. I already have my dp but a friend of mine that owns a muffler shop (handy to have a friend like that) is going to make new piping from the DP back. Also having my wideband installed in my DP on monday. Heres the specs, I don't know a whole lot about the turbo as it was free.

Garrett T3 from Saab 9000TSSAC 2nd gen ManiBlitz Recirc BOV (from JDM silvia!!! yeah right)Godspeed IntercoolereBay universal IC piping kitCustom DPJeff240SX Oil feed and returnApexi SAFC2Zeitronix WidebandSR 370'sWalbro 255Advance Auto Parts Turbo Filter (wooo hooo!!!)

I'm pretty sure thats it. So yeah, i know its not pretty nor is it the best but, i'm only into it for ~$1800 and my car will soon go wheeeeeeeee SPOOOOOOOSH!!!!!! peace.

UPDATED!!!I tuned my car the other night. Runnin 7psi with 9.9-10.4 afr's. I know, rich, like RX-7 numbers. But, I'm doin that until I get a heat shield made up to keep some heat off the BMC. Car pulls tho, way more compared to stock. Check the link for finalized pictures.http://www.hyper-productions.net/pics/done.html

12.5s?...i try to keep mine below 12s... some where in the 11-11.8 rainge...daily driving, drifting, autoxing.....i feel kind of worried keeping it over 12s on a stock motor...

or..should i be ok?

eric...when i come up..we'll up the boost and retune it...remind me to retard your timing to0...

o yea...go borrow a timing gun

wow cut some sheet metal and buy some bolts at ace hardware and fix the zipstrip disaster. I only say this because you will end up kicking car on the side of the road like I once did because IC bit the dust

I run a T3/T04E, 370's, SAFC2, walbro255, stock MAF, base timing at 15*, 8psi daily driven. My AFR's are in the mid 12's. No ill effects.

I agree, especially at such a low boost. If you stay at 7-8 psi you may not even need to retard the timing at all. But safety is best. So if you do retard your timing, lean that baby out or you may just wash the oil from the cylinders with all that fuel and due some real damage, I've seen it done.

If your worried, I ran mine for a few weeks in the 11.5 range on boost. But real power comes in at 12.5 or so.

Very nice job man. I don't know what rock everyone has been hiding under, but I'm from Boston and I've heard the term "snail", they say it here in AZ and they use it alot in Okinawa.

Oh, I get it, Super Street doesn't say snail...LMAO.

well my setup is differnt than dj_hypes(eric)...bigger turbo(t3/to4), injectors(480s), maf(z), and more boost on a stock motor...im at 12psi daily driving..timing retarded to 14-15degrees base....and im trying 2 keep my afr at 11.5-11.8...maybe even 12s...duno wut 2 do...
