Man, don't know what is really up with the car now, but it is running really rich. My setup is:

JWT ecucobra mafs550cc injectorswalbro 255lph fuel pump

The car literally shoots fireballs on 4 of the gears. I can't get on it in second gear because once it hits full boost it shoots fireballs and really bogs the car down. I have checked all of my vacuum lines and made sure my bolts to the turbo manifold are tighten, but really don't have a clue what to do now.

There has to be something that I am not checking to make the car run really rich. Can anyone give me any advice?

Have you pressure tested the intercooler piping and intake manifold...?

Sounds like a huge boost leak...

It's hard to get top feed injectors to seal...or do you run sidefeeds?

Well I did check the ic piping today and all were really tight except for one that needed some tightening, but still didn't really fix the problem. I don't have access to a pressure hose to hear if there is a leak, do you know how how to make one?

Oh yeah hear is some pics of the muffler:

OT - But those look like the same piece of crap Yoko ES100's that I have. Nice exhaust though. I love the blackened bumper, 'tuned' look you have going on there. Reminds me of my old 510.... Mmmmmm, Weber 45DCOE's....

Yeah it looks pretty sick, but don't like the car running like it.

Oh yeah I don't know if it matters, but it does make sense. I was talking to Bbandit about this just now and he said that he was running really rich also with his jwt 370cc ecu program, but once he turned up the boost it was fine. Right now I have my wastegate set up at 0.45 bar which is 6.6 psi without my boost controller. Tomorrow I am going to set my boost controller at 10 psi and see if it leans out the richness and response of the car.

the air/fuel ratio *should* stay the same for any bost level.

does this only happen when you are boosting or all the time? check the maf wiring. how does the car idle? give as much info as you can

btw for the air/fuel thing i said. jsut want to clarify that it should be the same or close to the same provided your injecors are big enough to support it. i dont want you goin out boosting 25psi on the 550's

Well I just went for a drive in the car just now. I am running 9.55 psi right now and everything felt good, until I got on the highway. When I was enterning the highway I started in second and punched it until I got to 3700-4000 rpm the car started to be very restrictive, I looked back and saw a cloud of black smoke. And then I switched to 3rd gear and once I hit 4k rpm again there was another clould of black smoke. In 5th gear I really didn't witness any cloud of black smoke, the car felt really good. If I am cruising around town the car is solid, even when I get full boost at around 2800 and till 3700 the car is fine. But anything after that the car is so restrictive. It seems as if it is dumping alot of fuel into the cylinders.

Oh yeah by the way the car idles at 1000rpm during startup and then when warm it idles at 1500rpm.

that is pretty high for your car to be idling. do you have any cel's? what about your spark plugs? could the gap be too large? i would think at the low boost you were runnign the gap should be fine. maybe you have weak spark from a bad cap, rotor, or coil? it might not be dumping too much fuel in but not burning it up.
