Ok, I have been loving my 98 Maxima since I bought it.. I have been having issues with a noisy starter when It's completely cold.. but today while I was out on my lunch break, I start her up and the SES light comes on.. so I get at the ECU and find out It's the code

"P0155/1001 ................ Left Front HO2S Heater Circuit"

Im assuming this is a 02 Sensor, but I am not sure of It's location.. My car just broke 126k today on my way to work.. anyways I reset the ECU and drove home on it without any SES lights.. should I wait for it to show up again before getting It repaired?

First go to the FAQ/How-to thread at the top of the forum.Second go to the second post in that thread that lists the how-to's.Third click the link titled 4th Gen SES/CEL Codes.Fourth look up your code on the list.Fifth click the link for your code.Sixth, read the thread.

Finally, purchase the correct O2 sensor (www.sparkplugs.com has great prices on Denso O2 sensors) and install.

Bank 2 is the one closest to the radiator. It's a pretty easy job. Drop the splash guards. Use a 22mm wrench to undo the old O2 sensor. Be sure to put some anti seize on the new O2, screw it in, and connect the new plug.
