so i had a cai ordered last weekend and i thought i'd have it by friday...not gonna happen. i don't know about you guys but last few items i bought were always refunded to me with an explanation that item was damaged during packing or some similar bull **** reason.

i know most will say go to injen or stillen or whoever else. but why would i want to pay a lot more for the part that does the same thing? my cai was $50 shipped. no one can beat that price. i've even seen cheaper and i know that the paper thin tubing they sell is crap but that's what heat resistant insulation is for - any cooling/heating supply store.

i guess i'm gonna have to reorder from another seller and hope that this time i get it.

i also have my eye on a set of lowering springs...wonder what my luck's gonna be with those.

btw...i know that usually price means quality but i'm not single anymore and have to try and sell my wife on the parts i want to buy. you should've seen me try and convince her that a fuel filter replacment was necessary - and it's only $10! to her $10 is another cute, little outfit for our baby girl. you married with kids guys out there know what i'm talking about...

anyways, time to get back to my baby so she doesn't get lonely - talking bout my max of course

what sort of transmission problems are you having. Also watch out for those e bay cold air intake because i had one befor and when it got to me i had to zip tie my air temp sensor in the pipe so it would not fall out. and my car after a while of driving it the car started to get slower and it would not pull at all.

i had the button on the shifter get stuck in p everytime i parked it but it went away. what i think i'll do is just wrap the stock intake in heat wrap because i've got a k&n filter in the box already. i've noticed on my previous cars with cai if it's not dyno'd to adjust it just right for performance they are pretty worthless...except for a cool sucking sound when rev up

How important is the ERG pipe? I have ebay headers and y pipe and now the car is not running...won't even idle...any ideas? I cut and sealed the ERG pipe.

that might be the problem. some exhaust gas needs to be sent through the whole system for the sensors to pick up on mixture, emissions etc.

Why? You need that for the car to function properly. EGR stands for Exhaust Gas Recirculation. That is probably what the issue is bro.
