So yeah, freaking car got key'd real bad too (haven't even had the car for more than a month...), a huge slash from the front door all the way to the rear. Its not that deep, but there's a long white line spanning about 2 meters...

Anyone know what kind of paint I need to fix it up, I don't want to go to my insurance and fork over $250 deductible for this $hit.

Wow what part of town is this?

I know there is a bunch of wigger kids around the Scurfield/Whyteridge area going around vandalizing everything in sight [I'm talking cars and houses]

Made me nervous when I went to pick up a friend who lives in that area.

I would bite the bullet and pay the $250 deductible and have it fixed right. You can get some factory touch up paint to fill the scratch, but the results for that large of an area will be less than pleasing.

Wow, I just wanted to say wow, the dealership (Birchwood Infiniti Nissan) I bought the car from felt my sympathy and fixed it up for cheap (and I mean 2 figure numbers)! The whole 2m gash is gone (except for a small part of it, like 1cm long barely noticeable coz its a very slight dent, but cant see it unless you take a magnify glass to it). They buffed it out real freaking nice, its like good as new!

I'm happy again :D

P.S. I actually work at the Pointe West Autopark as an IT personnel, I parked my car near the Enterprise and Ranger Insurance lot where the admin building is as my office is on the 2nd floor. But yeah, the service was mint!

Glad to hear that a good buffing did the trick. From your initial description of the scratch it sounded as if it was down to the primer and need paint for a repair.

Is this where you got keyed? That'd be screwed up cuz its the dealership's property and you also work there!!!

P.S. Next time I come for one of those free oil changes I'll swing by to say high to the black versa.

Actually, we're looking at the video survelliance cameras to see if it was in fact key'd where I work. If not, may have been at the university from the day before :S

UofM or UofW? I know a lot of ppl who got keyed at the UofW, especially at the brodie center.
