Hello,

So unbeknownst to me, underneath all the slush today was a layer of ice. Unaware of this, I made a turn and the vehicle was not responding (dammit, why no traction control). I ended up going into a curb at 10-20 degrees (so very shallow angle) at about 10km/hr.

I noticed slight curb damage on the very edge (small curb). I don't notice any significant pulling (slight pull to the right, SOMETIMES, i suspect due to the design of the road), no vibration etc.

Should I get an alignment done? I don't really want to if I don't HAVE to. I did run into a curb before and hit the other wheel but I didn't do it then and I don't want to do it now!!

But if I have to, I will. Gak.

Thx

if it makes you feel any better... if theres no uneven wear or strange driving conditions then dont do anything.. if it aint broken dont fix it.

I concur. . I hope your wheels aren't too messed up. . I've noticed that my QX4 seems to take a lot more beating than my 240sx did. . That car was almost always out of line after the beating I would put it through.

I tried to drive it off road several times.

Honestly I would take it in for an alignment. Almost always you'll tweak part of your steering hitting a curb. Hell if driving over pot holes can throw out your alignment a curb sure can. It's really not that expensive either for an alignment.
