Damaged Quarter Panel. HELP!!!

Soo I hate that this is my first post but basically I lost control on the highway on a rainy day and ended up spinning out and slamming my driver's side rear quarter panel into a metal barricade. I'm pretty mechanically inclined but a noob when it comes to body work. Still trying to decide whether this is worth fixing or if I should just call it quits and get a new shell. Taking it to a body shop is not an option since I know they're just gonna wanna cut the panel out and weld a new one on and I don't have thousands sitting around ATM for work like that. Any opinions are welcome! I was just thinking a s*** ton of bondo and getting rear overfenders link below!!!

Ouch. Welcome aboard man!

Well, it's ugly, but fixable. Doesn't look like it got into the structure, so if you're on a budget, get in there and start massaging the metal back into shape. It'll be uglier, but the overfenders idea isn't a bad one.

Yeah, that is pretty ugly.
I guess at this point you don't have much to lose, so you might as well try pulling that metal back out by any means necessary. It'll probably be a colossal pain in the a**. Do you have a welder?

I could borrow one from a friend but ive just decided to use a stud welder and a slide hammer and then fill in any imperfections along the edges with bondo and then overs. could yall recommend me any overs that will fully cover the quarters?
