Hello everyone, My sister moved to california and gave me her 93 J30 sense it would not pass emissions there and almost did not pass here, when she got the car the stereo had already been replaced with a pioneer cd player and all the speakers were shot, and the leather on the front doors next to the window are pretty messed up. would anyone have an idea how to go about fixing this stuff? would it be better to re-replace to speakers and deck with factory or replace with aftermaket? and can the leather be repaird and if so how or where? any help will be much appreciated.

as for the leather, if youre talking about the top of the door closest to the window, i think that is vinyl. Either way, if the dye is just worn off of it you can go to http://www.leatherique.com and they have the dye so you can re-dye it as well as fillers if it is cracked. I used this on my Acura Legend and it worked well.

Just take it to a upholstry shop. They can replace the leather.

As for the stereo, if you already have an aftermarket headunit and it's the speakers that are messing up just replace the speakers.

Good speakers can be had for $60 a pair.
