I went to an Auto-X yesterday and felt the front was too hard so I softened the dampers. It ended up being too soft and after one run, I noticed my pop up headlights just popped up by themselves and only one light is on. Checked my gauges afterwards and noticed my Tachometer, Speedometer, and Fuel Gauge aren't working. Only the Temp gauge works and lights.

I then checked all the fuse boxes, then the wires and traced it under the fender well... viola! My harness under the driver side fender well are fused together. I'm guessing that's the cause why my gauges aren't working... haha. So I fixed the wires. Everything looks nice and neat. Then I checked the dash gauges to see if everything works, still my Tach, Speedo, and Fuel gauges aren't working. Oh and my lights won't retract also.

Need help please...

Anyone? I checked the fuses near the clutch pedal on the driver's side today. All seemed fine. I'm guessing it was caused by a short via the fused wires. What else should I check?

Time to start tracing wires.

Worse case you could have physically messed up the cluster.

For the headlight side, check the relay box under the intake - trace/voltimeter wires between there & the headlight - first you can check if there is power & ground going to the headlights, then start narrowing down from there.

Ahhh! Not good. So my cluster is now junk? Do you know where the fuse is for the cluster? I'll go ahead and trace the wires for the headlights.

There's one way to find out - remove the cluster, haha.

The only fuse I know for the cluster is for the lighting (the lil light switch on the driver outer gauge bezel), not the operation of the gauges themselves.
