This is an extension of my previous post "dead cylinder? HELP!!!". I had a dead cylinder, and it was intermitant. I traced it down, with help from you dudes and chicks, to a fuel injector. I fixed that, she purrs like a kitten now at idle. Now, under throttle at take off, she dogs out. Then, until reaching driving speed, she hesitates slightly. I am hoping it is not another injector, 'cause if I have to take apart the fuel delivery one more time..... So, could I have done damage to the engine by driving it a bit with a dead cylinder???? I drove it maybe 15 or 20 miles while it was dead. Can it ruin something??? I know it can;t be good.... more help please!!!!

I'm guessing no, unless the injector was leaking. I once had a leaky injector (REALLY leaky) and I drove it a little, maybe 5-10 miles like that. Now that cylinder is about 5 psi lower on compression than the others. It's not like I broke anything, and I can't tell just by driving.

Did you check your MAF connection? Easy one, and a common culprit to some of your symptoms.
