Won't be able to go to the shop until tomorrow but wondering if any of you guys would know a basic ballpark guess on the repair cost of replacing the rear door

I'll tell the story on how it happened later my heart is broken right now

Paint will be the problem almost impossible to recreate oem specs so 5 years from now it will be ugly. It will never be as new so fix it and sell it.

I tend to agree... noit sure how much this will cost to fix... but I don't need to tell you that it's not going to be cheap.

Good luck

Quarter panel will be rough...is the door jamb bad as well? I'd say the door is the cheap part from the outside looking in...if we could get one with the door open we'd have better guesses...but I'd ditto what others said and just get it fixed on insurance and dump it on some poor unsuspecting shopper...then buy a new one. Also, my sister in law just got an insurance check for $17K...$7K of which was for diminished value when someone hit her brand new 4runner that only had 5K miles on it...and then she immediately sold it and moved onto an Acura RL. So if you can, get the diminished value before you sell...if it wasn't your fault.

Good Luck and I admire the fact your still breathing lol

Heck, I'm worried when people are standing to close to it, or my wife and kids walk past it in the garage. I'm worried that they will rub up against it with their clothes and put blemishes in the paint, scratch it with some metal buckle, or put finger prints on it .

Seeing my car like this would make me
