Hi there, my name is Seth, and I own an Hyper Black 07 Nissan Versa 6spMT. I live in Arlington Texas, just outside of Dallas. Ive been a member at nico for a few months, but have yet to take pic's of my ride. I also have an all aftermarket 78 Camaro Z28, so expect some pictures of the two together soon after their summer wax's.

Hope yall enjoy. The low megapixels dont do the black paint justice. Atx_Versa and I will be representing at a Nissan meet in Austin! woot

Looks good! Not a fan of the chrome grills though. But whatever floats your boat!

Now get some pics of the real car!

18's with Megan Racing lowering springs.

Thanks for the compliments! Sometimes I look at the chrome grill and I think its just too much... but the stock grill is just lame on these cars.

Haha, the "real" car he says

Ill try to post a few pics of that this evening too

Oh yes, I plan to take WAY to many pictures at the meet.

Nice looking V. The Chrome grille is a bit much, but it looks way better than the stock one. I hated the stock one on mine.

Black on black is always a good way to go.

Here are a few pics of the "real" car. Took it out today for some pics! Also I made a video of my exhaust. Check it out!

I got the billet grill and grille off of ebay! $190 shipped The fitment is questionable, but the main thing is KEEPING THE DAMN THING CLEAN omg that grill gets uber dirty.

Video of my exhaust! lol lil more beefy than the versa

..........okay once again the v is a candy bar to a modder. what is wrong with what i say? the versa is a modder's candy bar,,,,,,,,,,,,,sorry if that upsets some of you but if you take all the recent subcompacts and put them in a meet after they have been modded...........i am pretty sure the v will be somewhere @ the top and there are alot of recent subs so that comment on putting bling in the camaro might be the wrong investment.....plus the target camaros were from '67 to '69.

I DID put ALOT of my green in the Z lol.

Restored all the leather and interior to red/black

It still needs ALOT of TLC though.

I got it appraised, he said 9k, and that my year model was slowly gaining value. *shrug* I just like to take the cutouts off and hear that raw V8.

Interior needs alot of help.... but ive just put so many hours into the car... and it wants more? lol

Sorry to bring you off topic again but I was thinkin about getting the grill combo on Ebay also but I'm not too sure if is worth it.

You said that its fitment is questionable.. does it like stick out or whats wrong with it?Does anyone have any other grill combo that looks better?

Your "real" car looks great man. I think if you kept going with it it would be amazing. The work you have done so far looks good. Keep it up

"that comment on putting bling in the camaro might be the wrong investment"

Wow I'm speechless. So you are saying that dumping money in a grocery getter Versa is a better investment than modifying a 1978 Camaro Z28....

Watch your drunk posting buddy. I do not want him to put "bling" like you say on his Camaro. More high performance engine/suspension stuff.

Anyway peace out, this Camaro is full of win.

to each his own.............is it really worth it to mod a mid 70s camaro? probably for self stimulation. i know it's pretty hard to find a '67 camaro but i really don't like the heavy muscle cars......remember what they did to the mustang in '71 '72. those engineers shuda been shot. if i had a couple grand i would trick out the v and take a weekend vacation.

It IS full of win... thank you! I just do doughnuts in my back parking lot with it everytime I feel frustrated or depressed... lol its an outlet.

The grill... well in order to install the top portion, you have to cut out that V shaped peice of plastic that is right behind the grill. I didnt want to subject my car to that kind of torture... so what I did was *laughs* just dremel'd off the little stupid nub that is on the bottom of that plastic.... and then just screwed it into the top of the V, and for the bottom you must drill into your bumper. HOWEVER after doing this, I see the reason for dremeling off the huge peice of plastic that looks like a V. It sits almost a whole centimeter in front of the hood when you close it. Also! Our hood is really... rounded, the grill however is not, and is pretty flat. At the ends, the top most billet sticks about 4 cm away from where the headlight housing meets the hood. Standing from 3 ft you can notice, but from further... it looks perfect. Another thing... is you have to adjust your hoods' latch, so that when you close the hood, it doesnt smack onto the grill. I however didn't do this... so when I close my hood, I must put my knee on the bumper and flex is down a little so the hood will clear. Im not worried about the front bumper flexing because i want to replace it eventually n e ways.

The bottom portion is REALLY straightforward. There are small threads behind the grille, in each corner. They give you two peices of metal, some long threaded bolts and nuts... it just clings onto the front of the stock grille. You need a second person to push on the grille though, while you thread the nuts on the bolts... Jux have your friend sit on the ground and push it with his feel (lol). The whole time I was installing it I was thinking.... are you serious? It was quite the event, you need a friend for the bottom, which you have to install before the top one!

You cant compare the versa and the camaro -.- they are both in their own categories. The main thing I love about my versa is... its reliability! With the camaro.. omg... things are always leaking/breaking/coming undone/catching fire on the huge a** headers/scraping speed bumps/snapping belts/blowing radiators (notice the "s") I probably average about 4 or 5 mpg in the camaro. It eats a tank of V-Power for breakfast.

Are 240's any more reliable?

Thanks for the detailed write up about the grill. After reading what you said I have completely lost interest in it. lol I don't want to have to fight with the grill to get it on and to close my hood (although I hardly ever open it anyways). I guess I'll just have to wait for a good looking grill. I seriously HATE the OEM grill. It would be better if I could get rid of the Nissan badge I guess, since I am planning on de-badging my car in a couple of days.

Anyways, thank you for the write up. It's really appreciated.

Heyy, no problem! I hate short answers to questions like that lol. De badging was a breeze. Hair Dryer + Dental Floss. I followed with some 3M adhesive remover. I had to wash the car and wax it twice to get the paint to completely blend in.

I was so happy! lol
