Oh...in order for it to be slander, Sammy would also have to prove it's all untrue...if it's true, then dirtydrifter can say whatever he wants ;) Furthermore, then if Sammy lost the suit he could stand to loose even more money paying for drifters court cost and lawyers fees :D I think everyone should just drop the whole thing, this isnt really the best place to have it out. I'm just happy there is another welding/install/paint guy around here!

I dout I can be sue fo sayig **** sammy honestly 180sxyou must be about 16 year old.

first off its $400 to file suit with the county clerk, and no you do not need a lawyer. but if you wind up in court, and he has a lawyer and you dont. you will not win. all his lawyer has to do is site a bunch of cases. you will deffinatly need someone that has knowledge of case law to counter. this would likely not be a small claims case seeing as how there is more then $5K in business at stake

JACE will be there.....and the cheapest guy out there that can do it right the first time!! PEACEOUT jaces nigga....chris:ylsuper

Sounds like to me from this quote that RB's are not his specialty. I dont see anywhere that says he has installed ignitor chips on RB motors, so why would you expect him to know that question? It is probably a trick question anyway.

Why are you giving him the third degree?

He is offering people help for cheaper than ALL of the other guys (CTC, Cartune, Entuning, etc.) and you are just trying to denounce him. You know a LOT of people start their own businesses because they are unhappy with goods or services they receive in whatever area it may be.

if he has changed cams in an RB26, and dose not know where the ignitor chip is, then there is a problem. bcause you have to dissconnect the ignitor chip inorder to remove the valve cover. and you have to remove the valve cover inorder to remove the cams

WHY IS IT CALLED AN IGNITOR CHIP BY SOME AND AN IGNITION AMPLIFIER BY OTHERS, I NEVER UNDERSTOOD THAT? OHH WELL I FEEL YOU SHOULD LET HIM BE AND IF PEOPLE DECIDE TO USE HIM, LIKE I MAY, FIND OUT WHAT HIS SERVICES ARE LIKE. THE UNITED STATES ALLOWS FREE ADVERTISING SO LET HIM ADVERTISE ALTHOUGH I DON'T AGREE WITH THE WAY THAT HE HAS GONE ABOUT DOING IT THROUGH THE SPAN OF THIS THREAD.

well the igniter is on top of the valve cover in the very back. I did only change a steering wheel on the skyline in dallas but there are actually 20 ppl in texas that have skylines and the one I worked on was from houston. Give me a day and I can prolly get you those gaskets. I tried to advertise through here but then ppl attack me and what not and I defend my self just like anyone else would. Jace

Because the issue has been dropped...you keep bringing it up when even Jace agreed it should just be dropped...stop beating a dead horse, we all know how you feel now.

WTF IS YOUR PROBLEM, IS HE BASHING YOU? LOOK HE HAS HAD A BAD EXPERIENCE WITH CTT AND HE DOESN'T WANT ANYONE ELSE TO GO THROUGH IT SO HE IS TRYING TO PROVIDE A CHEAPER ALTERNATIVE WITH BETTER SERVICE. HE CAME HERE TO ADVERTISE AND YOU BLEW IT OUT OF PURPORTION AND DRAGGED IT ON IN A NEGATIVE WAY. HE ALREADY AGREED TO DROP THIS SAMMY THING, SO WHY DON'T YOU GET OFF HIS BACK? HE MAY NOT KNOW TIMING BUT I AM SURE HE HAS ACCESS TO BOOKS AND PERFORMANCE TUNING GUIDES FOR IT. JUST LET IT GO CAUSE HE HAS.

ANYWAY JACE IF YOU FIND WHAT I NEED EMAIL ME AT [email protected] IF YOU CAN GET A GOOD PRICE I MAY BE DOING ALOT OF BUSINESS WITH YOU. THANKS FOR LOOKING.

the difference is that you have NO reason to bash him. He on the other hand has reason to bash Cartune because of their shady operation. You know, Jace isnt the first person to bring up problems with Cartune. A lot of people have had problems with Cartune both in California and in Texas. A lot of people here have had problems with Sammy when he was with Boost Factor. So Sammy's track record isnt all that great. Given this, the information that Jace has provided us regarding his relationship with Cartune is definitely believable.

However, I havent heard anyone complain about Jace's services yet. Only two compliments. When Jace does something unjust or ethically wrong then you can bash him..until then he is innocent until proven guilty. Unfortunately for Sammy he has been proven guilty many times.

Anyway, I believe the ignition timing for an RB26DETT is 20 deg BTDC/950 rpm

sound about right?

why is it I get emails and phone calls at the shop from people telling me I need to check out this thread? it seems my name has been mentioned, its Clint if you dont know me.I work at Cartune Texas, also an investor.this thread dose not bother me, so dont bother me with this thread. right now we are averaging one 240sx motor swap a week. not to mention custom engine building jobs with SR and RB motors. We have also developed good relationships with other shops in the DFW area, including CTC, Gotham Racing, and Carboys. all of whom we have been abble to help out with special projects. So far all the customers I have delt with have been satisfied, and I have not recieved any complaints.for anyone that is interested in getting a swap, our 240sx swaps start at $2800 installed. that includes motor, trany, ECU, harnes, turbo, and all labor. if you have any questions call me at the shop 972-373-9939
