Dallas School District assigning fake SSN's

As a way to get bilingual teachers, the Dallas ISD has been giving these teachers SSN numbers if they don't have one.

while i dont think its right, i think that the intentions are good. most teachers i know take their job very seriously, and i can see how they could justify such actions in order to reach as many kids as possible. like i said though, does not make it right.

Hmmm ... the teachers did not do it to teach better or help more kids - it was the ISD taking shortcuts to meet quotas, etc. Sorry, not justifiable ...

Other than it being a felony I guess they feel it's OK to give out fake SSN's and hope the SSN is not another persons which will be abused in order to provide Spanish classes for those who can't speak it.

For the most part the Gov does not care. They get to keep billions of dollars in tax money off illegals. I doubt anything will be done other than the school system to be told to stop.

I wonder how much Debt we could resolve if we actually taxed every Illegal in the country. Instead of simply providing them free health care and getting NOTHING in return.

Or tax the money being wired outside the country from illegals. If they taxed a portion of that money, which really doesn't go into the local/state/national economies think of all the money we could collect.

I really think that working on the immigration problem is going to fix so many other issues that we have in this country right now...I think that should be top priority right now. It has ties to the economy, healthcare, debt, etc...

Would be nice...but it won't happen with a Liberal in office. I dunno why they enjoy compounding the issues we already have. Immigration has been a HUGE problem for the last 50+ years and does nothing but get worse. What do we do about it? How about a big FAT NADA.

Here, take my kids scholarship money, give it to an illegal POS so he can teach. Take my kids scholarship money, give it to GM/Ford/Amex/Whoeverthfvk so they don't go under.

Maybe I should drive down to Dallas and post signs ALL over so everyone know's their children are being taught by Illegals that have gotten by in this country for years without paying taxes. Now the Schools are giving away somone elses SSN so they can hire a bunch of Illegals at what I'm sure is a cheap rate.

I'm sorry, are you telling me there aren't some out of work teachers that couldn't use this job???

It's criminal and it needs to be dealt with...and harshly. Make an example of them.
