Did any of my North Texas peeps get any of that hail damage this weekend. My hardbody's got cellulite. I'm hurting over here.

Gotta love DFW-area dealerships. That's how I bought my Suburban - Got it for $6,800 OFF what the dealer owned it for because of some hail damage.

Great part is, I had the hood repaired for $200 and with the 6" lift and the 35" tires, the roof can't be seen (unless you're 8'5")!

Dang Infamous. It's nice and warm down here. That almost makes me feel a little better about being in Texas....hail and all.

i got a little hail damage. there's one big dent on the hood, and a few small dents over the roof and trunk. for some reason the panel of the sunroof took more of a beating than the rest of the roof. i'm contemplating claiming the damage to insurance because a few years ago it hailed on my $1600 1989 firebird with $300 maaco paint job, and they gave me $1400 for damage that was barely visible, especially after the summer (sun and 100 degree heat takes the small dents out).

I was caught out in it in my girlfriends car and we just pulled into an open bay in an apartment complex, no damage but it sure was loud as heck!! My friend in plano about 5 mi. away got her hood and roof dented a bit so I'm glad we didnt get anything more than about 1/2 inch where I was.

We got none at the dealership! My first weekend off, no longer beating the pavement on point as a salesman. Decided to sleep as much as possible...and I'm punished. Maybe I should go back to being a salesman, hardcore and slimy. You know the kind.

jayson,

I am sorry to hear about the haildamage on your Nissan..:(I remember 4 months ago they said we would have hail and I went outside in the middle of the night wrapping comforters around my Q.I also stood guard right next to my car, wearing shorts and a helmet to relay the comforters if they wanted to fly off (I had them secured but not professionally)

Fred...:)

lol. I still have flashbacks of the guy who died in 2000. He was moving his truck out of the hail when one the size of a softball came straight through the roof and cracked his cranium. I love my truck, but she can always be repaired.

That hail really did suck...fortunately my car was safe near downtown Dallas where the hail was VERY minimal.

I drive from Plano to Mesquite everyday. It's not that bad but I've got to go down Coit to Forest/Back up 75 to 635. That's 30 mins in minimal traffic, 1 hr in traffic. I'm moving ASABA! (As Soon As the Baby Arrives)
