Dallas 240 crews/teams?

are there any dallas racing crews or teams that consist of all 240s? if there are any, do u think my 240 would be able to join the crew n all? =) :aug2

just a question, why would you want to join a group of individuals who actually call themselves "a crew" or a "a team". Not hating or anything just curious, I hope you hook up with some good guys at any rate.

well i wanna join one just to be in a team of 240s, seems coo when u see alot of fixed up 240s driving around or parked somewhere

have u seen a video called redline? if u havent its on kazaa, go look for it. a movie about a supra meet, lots of fixed up supras every is pretty coo, so im guessing it would look the same for a 240 meet or a racing crew of 240s

I can see the value of banding together with other 240 owners. I just chukle when I hear people say "crew" like they are a mafia hitsquad or "team" like they race professionally. Some are true enthusiasts but the grand majority of these groups are guys who have no clue, think they are cool and worship neon and vinyl. It's tainted the words to the point that it's immediately what I think of when I hear them. I guess "club" is the only word I could use that so far does not make me think of pubecent ganstas in ricey automatic cars with big shift lite tachs and fake intercoolers.Whatever you are into though hanging out with similar folks is helpful, I just wish they would let me visit my "crew" more but the mental ward visiting hours suck!:D We have a thick crowd of 240 loonies hear on NICO, I think you will meet a lot of cool people here, welcome.

hmmm... yea that too... but i just wanna join a "club" so they can help me out with my car... i dont trust those mechanics who charge you more then it really is

oh yea and can u help me out with my problem i got going on with my attach file deal... i dont know how to attach my picture on there, every time i try to it says im duplicating it or something... do u know how to get it owrking?

sure go ahead. They admins handle the site's functions, they are much more knowledgable than I with the board's inner workings. They just did some major tweaking to the site so it might take a day or two to get the bugs worked out.

Woohoo...new member = new postwhore! Anyway, when I get my car running (SOMEDAY?? parts were supposed to be here two weeks ago...) we can meet up sometime. I dont have a "crew" or "team" its just me and my two friends who are helping me with my car, they dont drive 240's but they know a decent amount about cars in general...we'll take my car down to the track and mess with some ricers and mustang owners, oughta suprise them a bit

im not a ricer, im gonna be import all the way... just saving up for the project rb motor, dont know which one i wanna get, rb20 or 25, but either one im gonna fix it up pretty good, got the hook ups... then well see who gets their "ricer @$$" kicked

i go on cruzes with my car club, it doesnt really matter if they are all teh same car.. just driving up somwhere with 7 - 10 nice cars turns heads..

Ummmm....don't know if you missed it but i wasn't calling you a ricer. I said ALL of the 240's can go beat up on some ricer a$$.

EDIT: Nevermind, I read some more of your posts. Rice all the way. If you do with your car what you say, then more power to ya, bring it out and we'll all kick some butt. Otherwise, if you're calling me a "ricer a$$" and saying you of all people are gonna beat it......then BRING IT !! I know what I ALREADY have in my car and what it's capable of, not a bunch of pipe dreams of what i think i might possibly hope to have in the future.

I know what I have sitting in my garage and what's SUPPOSED to be in my car if it ever gets here

There'll be beat downs a plenty...but mostly just at the track, I cant afford to get nailed street racing.

You better have alot of hookups 180. Since I'm gonna be building GR14's motorup for her, and she actually has the money drop into it...A simple RB swap isn't gonna cut it.

Yeah, I know her plans and I know what she ALLREADY has...she's got 95-99% of this board out of the way

In fact...I'm going to have some serious catching up to do. Once WD messes with her car though, I think I'll just let her take the top spot...nitrous scares Nathan. I might have a few tricks up my sleeve to even the score up a little though...I think if I work REALLY hard I MIGHT get up to 400 without nitrous. But once WD and Girlracer finish that car of hers it's going to be pretty mean.
