Hi,

I just bought a '97 200sx SE (automatic :( ) as my commuter car. But the stock 1.6 needs more power. Mostly highway and hills so i need some suggestions. Remember im not going all out on this car. Im in the budget of maybe 300-400. I/H/E ? any suggestions?

Thanks

well headers will provide best gains, but not much without exhaust or intake, i suggest you do all three, however, headers are a good 5oo, exhaust about 35o, and intake about 15o or so

well the best headers out there 4 the ga are the hotshot.you can get them at optionsautosalon.com for around $400.the hotshot cai is around $250 and it's one of the best for the ga.

on the N/A sr? intake headers and exhaust are 3 basic mods that most people get right off the bat, and some critisize and call people 'ricers' just cause all they have is I/H/E , but run a stock car, and then the same car with I/H/E, it makes a dman good difference when they're all combined

the best bang for the buck will be nitrous. If you don't have much money to spend, and want to be fast (quick) then get a wet nitrous kit. Try a 5 speed swap then bolt ons. I/h/e/p is a good place to start, then go with a 75 wet shot. Should be good for mid 14's or faster with good driving.

I don't read import tuner much. I love SCC though. They really dig the silvia/240/skylines. I love reading about Project Silvia, too!

^ that's true. I wonder how off the dimensions of the tranny, driveshaft, and rear diff are froma 240 compared to a 350 if you were to do the swap.
