Yeah, that's a pretty nice one. I seen that on the VIP site earlier in the year, or at some time in the past. High miles though.

Faulk, what size spacers are you using? For that matter, what is the largest width the Q can take? Given the same size rim.

Jay my spacers are 1" and the rear wheels are 9" wide. I know you can run 10" with the right offset (low 30's I think).

I will have a new set on late this year or first thing next year, but I'm keeping details under wraps till she's ready to drop.

Q_, 130k is 39k more than mine! I just hit 91k last week. I put around 9k on it since July '04, WOOT!!

That Q has been on sale for a long time. I don't think I would have the patience to sell the Q. It's hard to let it goes for a low price. If I ever want another car, I would just buy it and keep the Q and a second car.

Kevin, you only drive 9K a year? I wish I could do that . I average out 25-30K a year in the Q. So much for the 4.083, gas milage stsrted to drop down to 14.28 MPG in the last tank with all the heat and AC on all the time. 4 - 8 years ago, my average milage was in the low 40 Kmiles a year (with different cars though).

Just filled my wife's commuter car and got 21 mpg. New PRG6 plugs make that much difference? I wouldn't think so.

I think the 4.083 with a larger 27" diameter tire size would be a good compromise, but where would one obtain the correct speedometer drive gear?

17k isn't bad. I've been getting 12 mpg in 95% city driving, summer blend gas, and AC on. Is that reasonable? Seems kinda low to me, just put a new air filter in yesterday (1 year and 2 days since the last one).

The 14.28 MPG is the correct gas mileage after I factor out the differences in final drive ratios and my larger rear tire diameter (26.7" vs 26.2" stock).

Brian, the speedometer error could be corrected by the Yellow Box ($110 shipped) or the Digital Speedo Corrector (US $44.35 shipped).

Kevin, 12 MPG is a little low I think. There must be a sport compact car waits for you at the light every time.

I was thinking the same thing, I think the car's worth that. Aren't the wheels a "quality" brand?

Nope...they are cheap made hear or imported hear in Miami HP Racing EVO's that come perfectly staggered at 18x8 & 18x9 with correct offsets. They only cost $600 for a set off ebay and you can buy two sets so that you have spares if you bend a rim or they discontinue making them like what happened to me.

Everybody hear in Miami has them on their cars (why I did not buy them) and I can get them locally for $500. They are about as heavy as my OZ Opera's but I seriously doubt that they would take much abuse.

I will let you all know how the little yellow box works after this weekend. I plan on finishing my installation of it this weekend. I have had it partly installed for the past several months and now that I have the 4.08 installed I need to finish it off so I can see my true speed.

WOW, thats a great looking wheel for the money. What do you think a decent set of rubber would cost?
